A visit with Aunt Emily(Charles' Aunt)

My brother Mike with our babies

Well, Tuesday night my brother flew into Montreal, Quebec, where he was met by his fiancee Aissa and a friend and they went to get him settled into their new apartment. Aissa will be living with her sister until the wedding, on November 29th. We were not really sad to see him go as we know this is all in God's plans for their lives, but a little sad as it will probably be a while until we see him and Aissa as they will need to get established as a couple now, and begin their lives with all the wonderful joys of bills and such! LOL! We love ya alot Mike and miss you already! Our thoughts and prayers are with you both always! Continue to give God your all and He will bless you guys tremendously.

Our babies are growing!!!

We visited the pediatrician once again yesterday, and after 3 weeks had our girls weighed! Sara is a whopping 8 pounds 3 ounces and Sophia exactly one pound behind her at 7 pounds 3 ounces! Yea! They are doing well, barring Sophia's acid reflux which is giving her extreme discomfort. She spits up alot and brings up alot of acid with it, so is on medication for that. Hopefully it is short term-my dad suffers from acid reflux and he says it is painful so I can only imagine what my baby is feeling...both girls have once again, for the third time, thrush in their mouths, and at $50 for a small bottle of medication, I am so frustrated! Especially because they use not even half a bottle each time, then you have to throw it out! URGH! At 9 weeks now, both girls are so aware, staying awake longer now and sleeping a bit longer in between feedings...thank God! LOL! Night time is the best for that, and only because God knows I need a little sleep!!! Both girls have been smiling for a few weeks now, but it is coming more often now and is so amazing!
