Update on life...

Wow, it has been a really long time since I actually sat down here and wrote something meaningful...I love blogging, but everyone knows how life goes! And what with dating, getting married, Christmas, and just day to day things, it just gets super busy. But I am determined to keep blogging, as first of all, it is a good way for my friends and family not living here to keep up with us; second, it is a great way to let everyone see pics without copying out a million to hand out! LOL!

Well, where to start...hmmm...Charles and I have been married just over a month now, and are enjoying life as a married couple immensely. I thank God for him every day and am so thankful to see how God is working on us all as a family and bringing us closer together. Emma and Logan are so happy to have a daddy, and are allowing him to be that other part of their lives they were missing. Our house is too small...lol...but we are just enjoying the comfort of family, especially at this time of the year as we prepare for our first Christmas together.

My annual Christmas party like I stated in previous posts is this Friday night at 7 pm, and I am looking forward to having alot of ladies that have not come before! We are going to have fun once again, ladies!

My mother in law, Reine(pronounced rain), was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago, and we requested prayer from a few people for her. She had surgery just this past weekend, which went very well, they removed the entire tumor, and she will have to go through a few rounds of chemo, starting in January. Please continue to keep her in your prayers-she is 75 years old and really not happy with the idea of going through the chemo process(who can blame her)but she is in fairly good spirits.

My previous sister in law Phyllis Miller is still going through alot with the chemo treatments she has been taking as well-the side effects of the treatment are literally killing her slowly, and I am asking for continued prayer for her as well. She is suffering from an enlarged heart right now, which they have gotten under control, but they are watching her closely, as she is extremely weak.

My husband is getting a raise at work(YEA!)something we have been praying for for a few months now, as of January 1st. Having two incomes is still the same as one when you have bills to pay! LOL!!!

I have been so bad at putting pictures up lately, but my camera is shot, so I am hoping I can get a new one sometime in the next few months. We will see but I will try my best to update with pics more often!

Annual Christmas Party...

Ok ladies I need some feedback here! My annual Christmas party is having a hard time being planned this year as I keep having to chnage the date! Originally planned for the 14th, that is the night of my husbands work Christmas party so we are going to that one. The next night, the 15th, is the church celebration, so thats out. Would I even get people to come if I planned it for the 21st...the following Friday night...let me know and I will go from there...
