Having a baby!

Talk about life taking some funny, yet amazing turns...I haven't blogged in a couple weeks, sorry for that, but as you all know and is a common complaint, life gets busy! First of all, congrats to Katie Booker on your third baby! No comment on the puking part(yech!) but you can keep it! LOL! As you all know by a previous post, Charles and I are expecting our first child together, and my third child personally. Charles stresses this is OUR third child, and I am so thankful he is such a wonderful caring father to my babies! Emma and Logan are pretty thrilled about having a new baby in the house, some days a little anxious, but overall they cannot wait to see our newest addition...we are all so excited! I have to admit, I was quite surprised to even be pregnant, as it was not planned, but God knows, and we are looking forward to meeting our little one. Our due date is September 24th, Charles' birthday! I tend to be early, so we will see...this pregnancy is definitely different from my other two! I was not sick at all with Emma or Logan and I tend to be a little nauseated and extremely tired with this one. I am a couple days into my 7th week, so as it progresses, hopefully it will be as simple as the other two...as simple as giving birth can be! LOL!

We are still on the lookout for a house...we are praying always for God to find us the house we need, hopefully for April 1st. Please continue to keep us in your prayers...

My brother as you all know is getting married-his wedding date has been changed to May 31st. They will be getting married in Montreal, honeymooning there as well, then flying back here to live. We cannot make it to the wedding unfortunately, but are thankful they will be settling down here. I will keep you all posted on this as well, and post pics as they come.

Congratulations Mike & Aissa

It's been a long road for these two, but a final wedding date of May 31st has been set, and they will be moving into their new apartment HERE in Calgary soon after! The wedding will still be held in Montreal but Aissa will be relocating here. We are pretty excited about it and are looking forward to getting closer to Aissa! This is just one of their engagement pictures.

PRAYER REQUEST!!!!! PLEASE!

OK, EVERYONE, I HAVE A SUPER IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST FOR YOU ALL. AS YOU ALL KNOW, EVER SINCE WE MOVED HERE, WHICH WAS A MUST AT THE TIME, WE HAVE BEEN LIVING IN A REALLY TIGHT SPACE, WITH 6 OF US CROWDED INTO A VERY SMALL HALF DUPLEX. IT HAS BEEN EVEN MORE SO SINCE I WAS MARRIED IN NOVEMBER, AND WITH ALL OF THE EXTRA THINGS MOVED, WE BARELY HAVE ROOM TO BREATHE, ALMOST LITERALLY! BEING CLOSE TO THE CHURCH WAS A COMPLETELY IDEAL SITUATION FOR US SINCE MY MOTHER TEACHES THERE, AND BOTH OF OUR KIDS ATTEND THE SCHOOL. I CURRENTLY HAVE TO DRIVE LOGAN TO SCHOOL MYSELF AND IT IS NOT A GOOD SITUATION AS ONE OF MY DAYHOME PARENTS DOES NOT WANT ME DOING THIS, AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE THAT CHILD, SO IT IS CAUSING A PROBLEM. THERE IS CURRENTLY A HOUSE DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CHURCH, A WHITE HOUSE, WITH A FOR SALE SIGN ON THE GRASS AND A FOR RENT SIGN ON THE FENCE THAT WE HAVE CALLED ABOUT, AND AFTER SPEAKING TO THE OWNER, WERE PLEASED TO FIND OUT IT WOULD BE AMAZING FOR ALL OF US. TWO SEPARATE AND COMPLETE SUITES, 3 BEDROOMS UP, 2 DOWN, SEPARATE ENTRANCE FOR THE BACK, FENCED IN BACKYARD, AND BEST OF ALL, 30 SECONDS FROM THE CHURCH! uNFORTUNATELY, THE OWNER IS ASKING WAAAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS PLACE AND WHEN I SAY WAAAAAAAAY, I MEAN HE IS ASKING ALMOST $3000 TO RENT THE ENTIRE PLACE, SOMETHING I CHOKED ON WHEN HE TOLD ME. CRAZY...SO I AM ASKING FOR YOUR PRAYERS ON THIS MATTER, THAT FIRST IF GOD WANTS US TO HAVE THIS PARTICULAR PLACE, THAT THE OWNER WILL DROP THE RENT BY QUITE A BIT, OR DROP IT STILL BUT INCLUDE UTILITIES IN THE RENT. I AM CONFIDENT AFTER THESE MANY MONTHSOF PRAYING FOR THE RIGHT PLACE THAT GOD KNOWS WHAT WE CAN DO, SO I AM JUST GOING TO LEAVE IT IN HIS HANDS. WE DO HAVE TO MOVE THOUGH, SOONER RATHER THAN LATER, BUT TO THE RIGHT PLACE WHERE WE CAN STAY UNTIL WE CAN BUY A HOUSE, HOPEFULLY IN A COUPLE YEARS. PLEASE PRAY FOR US, AND WE WILL WAIT AND SEE WHAT GOD WILL DO!
