The last day of July, and I still cannot believe it! 2008 has been such a fast year, and with everything happening, I can see why! The year of babies and weddings! Even for Charles and I, we were discussing only last night how quickly time has passed for us...we have been married just about 9 months already! And it has been an amazing time! I am so thankful God gave me this man as my husband and father to my children! God is sooo good!
On a sad note, my previous sister in law passed away just over a month ago from the immune deficient disease which caused the cancer that eventually took her life. She was just 50 and left an 18 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. We are keeping the family in our prayers. On a good note(yea for them!)my mother in law is just finishing up her radiation treatments for the breast cancer she was diagnosed with last year and everything looks good for her. She is flying into Calgary in September to visit with us, and will be hopefully attending church with us. She is so excited to meet her new grandaughters, and I am looking forward to meeting her as well. A little nervous as she does not speak much English!
My brother's fiancee flies in tomorrow and will be with us for 3 weeks. Mike & Aissa will be getting married November 29th in Montreal, where they will be living for the unforseeable future. It is going to be sad to see them go, but I think it will be good for them to start over in a new place, on their new life together. Unfortunately I cannot go to the wedding, but hopefully my parents will be going, and taking Emma and Logan as they are in the wedding.
This pregnancy has been so long...sigh...lol! Every pregnancy seems to last forever! Carrying twins has proven to be quite the challenge and I am just so glad we are almost done! We are trusting God to do what He knows is best for our babies; they are both breech right now, and my doctor is saying to schedule a c section for August 29th, but we are giving them time just in case...my next ultrasound is August 11th, when I will be 34 weeks, and that should tell the tale! I can't believe we are going to see our beautiful girls in about a month!!!
